Well, they are double sided pages, which makes it easier to do two posts at once.  I had to blow up the second image before I realized that the smaller child was on a tricycle.  Click on NTSNC in the labels section to bring up the whole lot.

A Girl and Her Trike

















Did you know....The tricycle was originally designed and built for women. It was thought to be both immoral and undignified for women to ride bicycles, but the trike would allow a woman to join the cycling craze while keeping her legs covered. Women preferred bicycles.

Family Portrait





An old albumen print mounted on a card. The card is damaged, and also the print. There is a date, 1929, written on the card, but the clothing, and the tricycle look more like the late nineteenth century to me.
